Antique Edwardian (1901-1914) pendant featuring a faceted bloodstone. The bloodstone is set with two faceted silver caps, strung on a silver chain. The stone sits inside the chain.

Bloodstone is  the mineral 'Heliotrope' (from the Greek, Sun to turn'), it is a variety of chalcedony with red inclusions of hematite.

MEASUREMENT

The necklace measures 46.5cm / 18.3" in length. The pendant measures 2.4cm / 0.9" in length and 1.1cm / 0.4" in height.

CONDITION

The pendant is in excellent antique condition. The chain is a new silver chain.
